Overview
montlakelabs.com (the "Site" or "Service") is operated by PinnacleWorks INC. The terms "we," "us," and "our" throughout refer to PinnacleWorks INC and its operation of the Montlake Labs workflow automation platform. By accessing the Site, registering an account, or purchasing a subscription, you consent to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Section 1 — Online Store Terms
By agreeing to these terms, you confirm you meet the age of majority in your jurisdiction and have the authority to enter into a binding agreement, either on your own behalf or on behalf of the organization you represent. You may not use our products or services illegally or for unauthorized purposes, nor violate any applicable laws in your use of the Service. Transmission of viruses, worms, or any other destructive code is strictly prohibited. A breach or violation of any of these Terms will result in immediate termination of your access without notice.
Section 2 — General Conditions
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time. Credit card information is always encrypted during transfer over networks using TLS 1.3, and full card numbers are tokenized by our payment processor (Authorize.Net) at the moment of checkout — we never store complete card numbers on our servers. You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, scrape, or exploit any portion of the Service, use of the Service, or access to the Service without our express written permission.
Section 3 — Accuracy of Information
We bear no responsibility if site information lacks accuracy, completeness, or currency. The material on this site is provided for general information only and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for making decisions about your business operations or technical architecture. We reserve the right to modify content, pricing, integration availability, and feature descriptions without notification.
Section 4 — Modifications to the Service and Prices
Plan prices, run quotas, integration counts, and included features may change without notice. We reserve the right to modify, discontinue, or suspend the Service — including individual integrations or AI steps — without advance warning. We shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, price change, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service. Existing paid subscriptions will continue at the price you signed up at until the end of your current billing period.
Section 5 — Products or Services
Our subscription plans are offered exclusively online. The Consumer category includes the Basic, Pro, and Premium tiers; the Business category includes the Team, Business, and Enterprise tiers. Each tier has a specific monthly price, run allowance, and feature set described on our pricing page. All paid subscriptions remain subject to the Refund Policy below. We may limit sales to specific persons, geographic regions, or jurisdictions, and may impose fair-use limits on a per-account basis to protect the Service for other customers.
Section 6 — Refund Policy
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all paid subscriptions. Customers should review the complete Refund Policy for full details on eligibility and how to request a refund.
Section 7 — Billing and Account Information
We may refuse any order at our discretion. You agree to furnish current, complete, and accurate billing and account information for all transactions made on this Site. Prompt updates to your account details — including email address, billing address, and credit or debit card information — are required so we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed. We currently accept Visa and Mastercard only; other card brands are not supported at checkout.
Section 8 — Third-Party Tools
The Service integrates with a number of third-party tools (Slack, GitHub, Notion, Stripe, HubSpot, Salesforce, Linear, Airtable, and others) that we neither monitor nor control. You acknowledge and agree that we provide access to such tools "as is" and "as available" without any warranties or representations of any kind. The third party may change its API, deprecate features, or revoke access at any time, and any resulting disruption to your flows is outside our control.
Section 9 — Third-Party Links
Third-party links on this site may direct you to websites and resources that are not affiliated with us. We are not responsible for examining or evaluating the content or accuracy of these third-party sites, and we do not warrant and will not have any liability or responsibility for any third-party materials or websites, or for any other materials, products, or services of third parties.
Section 10 — Personal Information
Your submission of personal information through the Site is governed by our Privacy Policy.
Section 11 — Prohibited Uses
You are prohibited from using the Site, the API, the dashboard, or the run engine:
- (a) for any unlawful purpose;
- (b) to solicit others to perform unlawful acts;
- (c) to violate any international, federal, or state regulations or laws;
- (d) to infringe upon our intellectual property rights or those of any third party;
- (e) to harass, abuse, insult, or discriminate against any person on any basis;
- (f) to submit false or misleading information at signup, checkout, or in a project brief;
- (g) to upload or transmit viruses or any other type of malicious code through the Service;
- (h) to attempt to bypass plan limits, scrape data from other accounts, or exceed published API rate limits.
Section 12 — Disclaimer of Warranties; Limitation of Liability
We do not guarantee, represent, or warrant that your use of the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. While each paid Business tier has a published uptime target (99.9% on Team, 99.95% on Business, 99.99% on Enterprise), we make no warranty beyond that target. We assume no liability for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Section 13 — Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PinnacleWorks INC, its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates from any third-party claims, demands, or losses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your violation of these Terms, your violation of any applicable law, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
Section 14 — Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, United States — the jurisdiction in which PinnacleWorks INC is registered — without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Jefferson County, Kentucky.
Section 15 — Changes to Terms of Service
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Continued use of the Service following the posting of any changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.
